At the start of the season, the girls' dress relies on soft fabrics like sweatshirt, cotton, muslin and velvet. This classic dress is perfect for snuggling up in. The pattern offers nostalgic detailing – high waist silhouette and cute ruffles. This comfortable dress opens at the back and is therefore easy to put on and take off and can be worn with or without a baby bodysuit.

The pattern contains two options:

• Option A: Long sleeves, ruffles at the sleeves and knitted cuffs.
• Option B: sleeveless, ruffles at the sleeves.

The pattern already includes seam allowances and hem allowances!

Recommended fabric: jersey or sweatshirt. Jersey is a light and stretchy fabric with a soft outside and inside and ensures a comfortable feel and freedom of movement. Of course, these other fabric qualities can also be used, such as: cotton fabric, velvet, linen, light denim, muslin, baby cord, flannel or gabardine.
