The bandeau sewing pattern is not only incredibly comfortable in these tropical temperatures, it is also the perfect sewing project for beginners. The best thing about the bandeau sewing pattern? You can sew two bandeau tops in one, as the simple tube top sewing pattern is reversible. Simply choose two contrasting fabrics and sew them together! - 2.5cm (1 in) wide elastic: your bust circumference minus 20%
- 0.5cm (3/16in) wide elastic: Amount = (Your bust circumference + Your under bust circumference + 2 * Your waist circumference) – 20%

Tip: We use an oeko-tex certified 100% organic cotton poplin with a weight of 130g/m2. The sewing pattern is drafted for a woven fabric without stretch.

Find the perfect size for you simply by using our size chart. Measure your chest, waist and hip circumference and check the chart to see which size most closely matches your own measurements.
The Zola Top has a positive ease of about 30cm (12 in) around the bust and a positive ease of about 50cm (20 in) around the waist and is then shirred with elastic bands to your body measurements.. For reference, our model Djamila is 170cm (5′ 7″) tall and wears size XS.
