May we introduce? This is our mini …er Mimi Skirt! Small but mighty, you might say. Because the short skirt can be sewn from a variety of fabrics – whether cotton poplin or coat fleece – and promises with its elastic waistband and side pockets not only comfort, but also brings a touch of coolness to your outfit. It’s wonderfully easy and quick to sew, making it one of our favorite after-work projects. The skirt in mini length you make in one of the sizes from XS-XXXL. Which one you sew, you decide only when cutting. Everything you need to make this garment can be found in your sewing kit.

For this sewing pattern you need the following materials:<7p>
- medium to heavy-weight outer fabric without elastane, e.g. coat fleece with a fabric width of at least 140cm (1.5yd): XS-XXXL: 1,15m (1.25yd)
- 3cm (about 1in) wide elastic band the length of your own waist minus 4cm (1.5in)
- matching sewing thread
- a safety pin
- sewing machine with sewing machine needle suitable for fabric thickness
Tip:We use for the Mimi Skirt a soft coat fleece made of 70% polyester and 30% virgin wool with a weight of 470g/sqm.
