Store-bought laptop cases? Too expensive, too technical, or just not my style. So I made my own - with quilting, beautiful fabric, and simple Velcro closure. No high-tech, just a practical, one-of-a-kind piece with style.

The construction is simple, making it ideal even for those who have only completed a few sewing projects. If you're ready to try quilting, you'll get a really high-quality result with extra protection - but the case looks great without quilting too and is even easier to make. The Velcro closure is simple but reliable - open, close, done.

For the outside, use a sturdy, non-stretch fabric like canvas or linen blend. The inside should be as smooth as possible so you can easily slide your laptop or tablet in and out. Depending on the desired protection, you can work with batting, interfacing, or stuffing - and if you like, quilt patterns, letters, or add a label to the flap.

Whether for technology, books, documents, or as a small beach bag - the case is versatile, practical, and a beautiful project with plenty of room for your personal touch.
