Right of return

You can return delivered goods without reason within 14 days by sending them back. The term begins once you receive this text as a letter, fax, or email, or once the goods have been received by the recipient. (For repeated shipments of similar goods, not before receipt of the first partial delivery), and also not before we have met our obligation to inform according to Article 246 § 2 in conjunction with § 1 Abs. 1 and 2 EGBGB as well as our duties according to § 312g Abs. 1 Satz 1 BGB in conjunction with Artikel 246 § 3 EGBGB. You may only declare a return via text when the goods are unable to be sent by package (e.g. oversize goods). Goods must be sent back or a return must be requested (for larger goods) before the expiration of the 14 day period.

So that the customer can examine the wares before purchase, Stoffe Brünink & Hemmers GmbH ships samples.

Consequences of Returning Goods

A successful return must be mutually beneficial. If the goods have been damaged or partially used (advantaged usage), then you must compensate us for the usage. In case of only partial usage, you must compensate us for the value of the used part. For damage or usage, you must compensate us to the extent that the usage was related to an interaction with the item, that goes beyond testing the characteristics and functionality of the item. Testing the characteristics and functionality can be understood as testing and trying the goods as it would be possible and normal in a store. The duty of compensation must be fulfilled within 30 days. The term begins with the shipping of the goods or the return request, for us it begins with receipt thereof.

The right of return is not applicable to goods that are manufactured to meet customer specifications or that are tailored to the personalized needs of the purchaser.

To make the return process easier, please include the filled out return slip in the shipment. Notice: Use of the return slip is not a prerequisite for claiming the right of return. For larger packages, we will collect the goods from you. This can be arranged through our customer service department.
